Dial A Ride is a friendly door to door transport service for residents of the Redditch Borough who are unable to use public transport such as the elderly, disabled, or recovering from an accident/illness preventing them to maintain their independence. Register with us to make any journey within Redditch Borough in our fleet of modern wheelchair accessible minibuses which have low rise steps for easy access. Dial-A-Ride Getting to the shops Visiting family and friends Leisure Medical appointments Making a travel connection to somewhere outside the borough. Dial A Ride runs Monday to Friday with first pick-ups from 8.50am and last pick-ups at 4.20pm, except Fridays which are 4pm. If you are visiting Redditch Town Centre, we can also book you a Shopmobility scooter or wheelchair to meet you when you get there. If you need an escort to push you in your wheelchair around town, we can also arrange this too. We have regular services to Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and the Kingfisher Centre. Also Support Community Groups such as Age UK, Ecumenical Centre, VIP. Fares Dial a ride journeys for all customers with a concessionary bus pass: £2.50 per single journey (and £3.50 for medical journeys) Customers travelling without a concessionary bus pass: £3.50 per single journey (and £4.50 for medical journeys) The yearly registration fee: £15.60 for all of our customers Customers who register with both dial a ride and shopmobility: £22.00
