Bromsgrove u3a

Bromsgrove u3a started in 1984 as part of a national learning cooperative. We are a friendly bunch of lively people who no longer work full time. We may be retired but are not retiring! We aim to keep active and open to fresh ideas and new opportunities. We learn from each other, sharing our knowledge and experience across all sorts of subjects. There are over 20 groups for various activities like French conversation, local history, scrabble, ukulele and photography. These groups meet in different locations, often in members homes. Our main monthly meeting is held at the Methodist church centre which is a comfortable venue adjacent to a town car park. These meetings are every 3rd Tuesday at 2pm with doors open from 1.30pm so members can mingle and chat before the talk. The programme of talks covers a wide range of topics, see our website (Events). We welcome new members, details of the subscription and how to join are all on our website. If you want to meet new friends and learn something new, come along. This is learning for fun.....no qualifications needed. The motto is learn, laugh, live.
