Family Front Door

*If you have reason to believe that a child or young person is at immediate risk from harm contact the Police on 999* 'Fixing the Front Door'has been a key priority for Worcestershire County Council from 2014 -2016. The number of children in need of protection has increased by c.100 children and the number of children in need of care has increased by c.50. This increased demand has had an impact on the life chances of children and young people and put considerable pressure on financial resources. Compounding the impact of this increased demand is the ongoing challenge of developing consistent good practice across the entire social care workforce. The Family Front Door is used as working term for a service that brings together the current functions within the Children's Social Care Access Centre, Early Help Hub and other complementary services to act as single contact route into targeted and specialist support services for children and families. Central to the Family Front Door is working with key partners to share information at the earliest opportunity in the most effective way.
