Absence from work certificates - If you're off work sick for 7 days or less, your employer should not ask for medical evidence that you've been ill. Appointments - We run all our surgeries by appointment only. To book an urgent on the day appointment please call as close to 8:00am as possible for an emergency appointment. Care Navigation - GP practices in Redditch and Bromsgrove are following the Care Navigation Scheme, which aims to offer patients the choice to see the most appropriate person. Clinics - We do not run specific clinics at set times for the following services. Extended Hours Access - Evening and Weekend Appointments Extended Access appointments are available through Bromsgrove PCN. Extended Access appointments at St Johns Surgery 0700 - 08:00, Mondays and Wednesdays 18:30 - 20:00. Non-NHS services - The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions, Non-NHS services. Online services - Online Access through Patient Access or the NHS APP. You can download the NHS APP (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) which is a simple and secure way to access patient records. Repeat prescriptions - You can request a repeat prescription by completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Leave it with the surgery or send it to us by post. Test results - Please call between 1:30pm and 4.30pm hours to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request.
