SpeakEasy NOW

SpeakEasy NOW is a self-advocacy charity run by people with learning disabilities. Self-advocacy means speaking up. Our members speak up about things that are important to them. They help other people with learning disabilities to speak up. We meet at self-advocacy groups across Worcestershire. Expert Members support the work of Worcestershire County Council. Health Checkers and Quality Checkers are funded by the NHS to ensure their services meet the needs of the community. Easy Read translation service and Learning Disability Awareness training can be provided to organisations who want to improve their service for customers with learning disabilities. Are funded by the Big Lottery to make sure that our work includes the views of young people and people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicity communities
